Based on what's coming out of Milan this week, Spring '13 menswear is all about color. Designers are featuring lots of trim suiting options and slim silhouettes, done in anything from neutrals with a pop of color to monochromatic head-to-toe brights. While realistically, most men we know aren't going to jump on board with the idea of a fuchsia three-piece suit, maybe they will be compelled to venture outside the traditional drab comfort zone and embrace the idea of color in moderation.

Fab Flat Sandals

This year, we are seeing so many fun new styles of chic, yet comfy flat sandals. We welcome a pause in popularity of the mega-platform heel, and the days of flapping around in the plain old flip flop are long gone - unless you're actually on the beach. White Denim

Absolutely mandatory. White denim is a staple for summer because it's fresh, bright and beachy, and goes with literally everything. With so many style and fit options, the possibilities are unlimited. Pair it with a floral top for something romantic or maybe a nautical stripe - whatever makes the look your own. Who's there? Orange. Orange who? Orange you in the hottest color for May! You can't help but find the color everywhere, in any number of variations of the shade, from peaches to electric neons. Orange is one of those colors that people love, when its worn by someone else. But it truly works on virtually everyone, giving any skin tone a sunkissed glow and enhancing eye color. If you're still in doubt, try the most universally flattering shade - a softer coral tone with a pinkish base, like Mary Kate on the bottom left. How to Wear Yellow

A popular summery bright, yellow can be a tough color to pull off. It does take some hunting to find the right shade; the right hue can immediately transform you into a sun kissed beach goddess or if wrong, you might be giving off more of a wan, jaundice baby vibe. As a general guide, darker skin tones and hair colors can typically wear bolder shades. Blondes more often do better with softer, cooler shades. Red heads can wear honey tones and golds well. But there are certainly exceptions, and it's well advised to hold up several options in front of a mirror to find your best hue. Still feeling uneasy? Maybe tone it down by pairing a dash of yellow with other trusted neutrals, or add just a pop of sunshine in the form of a scarf or accessory.
