To Belt or Not to Belt...

That is a good question. So many times the solution to "just belt it" is tossed about as an answer for everyone's fashion dilemmas. No matter what your body type or personal style, occasionally accessorizing with a belt can work for you. For hourglass and pear shapes, a fitted belt at the natural waist emphasizes your small waist. For apples and those without curves, wearing a belt over a jacket or low slung on the hip can break up the silhouette and add definition to your shape. They are the perfect way to deflate tricky voluminous blouses and can finish off a dress or add a fun pop of color. The trick is to keep it simple and choose one that works with your own style aesthetic. Belts can be a great way to play with new shapes or refresh an old wardrobe classic. Try it out - it's a cinch!
