LA Fashion Week Oct 17-21

LA Fashion Week is here, with plenty of events, entertainment and inspiration for both industry insiders and casual admirers. New and established designers will be presenting Spring 2012 collections at a variety of locations across town. Trends for the season include lace, sheer fabrics, feminine prints, vintage silhouettes, bold colors and color-blocking.

Oct 22: Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion Los Angeles edition at Vibiana, downtown LA. This presentation introduces the world to the best up and coming designers, with this year's show featuring MARKET favorites Funktional and Odylyne.
Oct 23: Rodeo Drive Walk of Style honors Italian fashion house Missoni and supermodel Iman in a special ceremony, Beverly Hills. Missoni and Iman...how can this not be amazing?
And finally, for a great cause:
Oct 28: Designs for the Cure hosted by David Meister in affiliation with Otis College of Art & Design to benefit Susan G Komen for the Cure at the Bel-Air Bay Club, Pacific Palisades.
